Dear friends,
First let us apologize for not writing for some time now.

Rebekka

This summer we had to say goodbye to our Rebekka Rasmussen who was serving with us in Montenegro for 2 years. It was hard saying goodbye but knowing she would continue working for KFS Denmark gave us certainty we would see her again in the future. She has been truly a blessing for all of us here and the work in EUSCG. Rebekka will be still visiting us once a year. We are looking forward to that.

ENGLISH CAMP 2018
Like every year we had the English camp and this year we returned to Vučje. We had new people coming. We were a smaller group but we had a fruitful experience. Having UCCF group coming and having English camp has definitely been blessing for our students and us. In 2019 unfortunately we will not have the UCCF group coming because in the same time there would be IFES World Assembly

CAMP MONTY
After English Camp we had  Camp Monty started. Together with LIFE (Life Impact for Eternity) we run this camp where we have great team of people coming from USA and in 5 days at end of July we reach about 400 kids and teenagers in Nikšić with Gospel trough sport, english lessons, music, evening program.  This is an opportunity where we can get to meet new young people and see generations change. We build good connection with kids all over Niksic and have the opportunity to stay in touch with them afterwards. On the evening meetings we invite them to follow Christ and after camp we focusing on those who made decision to follow Jesus.

CAMP IN GREECE
At the end of August we were also invited  to participate at a camp in Greece. Two of our students could come with us and we got together there with other students from EUS Serbia and Greece. It was an interesting experience to get to know more greeks, being part of their teachings and culture.

Visiting USA
Danijel was traveling more than usual this year which was a bit of a challenge for the team in EUS and his family. He was in USA to visit people from LIFE and to talk about Camp Monty so people would be encourage to join the team and support the camp and follow up.

JELENA V.
Jelena Vilotijević, a team member of EUS is still studding in England, at Cornhill Bible school in England.  She’s doing well and growing in her faith through studies and practical work. Jelena really has serving heart and we are excited to have her back to our team this year in October 2019.

Martina and Marina
We have a new team member this school year. That’s Martina Petkovski,  Danijel’s wife.  Martina started to work 15% last semester. She is taking care of girls meetings. Marina Lalatović also joined our team as a volunteer. She’s being part of our regular meeting we have as a team.
Sasa Olah and Marina are planning to get married in May 2019 and we’re all rejoicing for them.

Bible Study Group in Podgorica

We continued having regular Bible studies in Podgorica every Tuesday. Most of the students are very busy in December because of the exams so they couldn’t join us so much this past month but we’re keeping in touch.

Visiting The Word of Life Budapest

We had the opportunity to bring students to Hungary to visit The Word of Life Bible School in Budapest. It was great to see Jimmy Compton there to plan Camp Monty.  Also it was good  to see Dr. Cam Garven  who was teaching Acts.
Cam and Jimmy are bringing people to Montenegro for Camp Monty 2019.

After spending a day in Budapest on their way back to Montenegro they stopped in Zlatibor, Serbia for the annual November conference of EUS Serbia which was a new experience for them.

Rafaela
We were visited by a Brazilian girl Rafaela Centeno who has a heart and desire to work in Montenegro. She was coming couple of times in Nikšić and was helping in student work and kids work and getting to know more the people.

ENCOURAGEMENT
On our regular Bible studies on Wednesdays there was a lot of new people coming and going. We’re praying that the seed that was planted could grow on a good soil and we would see them again.
We were encouraged by a former student of University Anđela who now lives on the coast of Montenegro. We met her during the Mission week and spoked with her years ago.  She called Danijel a month ago to say how thankful she was that she heard about Christ from us, even her background is orthodox/catholic and that she met this kind of group of people. She is connected with a group of believers on the coast and is being part of the Church there.

Operation Christmas Child
We are  done with the week of giving Christmas shoe boxes from Samaritan’s Purse. We’re thankful that we had a lot of help this year from students, some friends joined us from the States, a married couple Rebekka and Andrew and even Jelena Vilotijevic who was here for her vacation used the time to help us. This time of the year is always challenging as we are trying to meet everyone needs. We had less packages than previous years. We decided to go to Pluzine and Savnik, two smaller cities more outside of  Niksic. Also to the smaller schools around Niksic that has from 10-30 pupils per school. Having the van this year has been such a blessing also. The rest of the packages we gave in Niksic. Despite all the things this is always probably the most favorite time of the year for us cause we get the chance to evangelize bigger groups of parents and children and share the Good News with them, tell a Christmas story and sing a song.

Prayer requests:
1. That the girls keep coming to girls Bible studies despite of their busy schedule.
2. For the new students who are coming on Bible studies to continue to come and for God to speak to their hearts.
3. Please pray for family Petkovski as they are moving in their new house this year at the beginning of February and they are expecting another child at the end of July.
4. For all the team members to be always ready to tell the Good News of Christ and for strength and patience we need with people around us daily.
5. For Rafaela Centeno as she trying to find financial support to live here.
6. For God to speak in every single heart of the people who came to the distribution of the Christmas shoe boxes.
