Our blog has been silent for a while. This covers an absolutely busy period here in the student ministry in Montenegro. In all that happened, we are astonished by how God work in the lives of people because he calls them into his love and invites them into a living relationship with him. Pour yourselves a good cup of coffee or tea and enjoy reading about the last months work of God in our country! God is working!  We want, as always, to start with God. In the last month, God has indeed been working in deep ways in the lives of people. It has lead our thoughts to the well-know books of C.S. John. 1, 1 - 4:  "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched - this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. In the last blog, we still had a feeling of being in a bit of vacation mood. However, now - a month later - it feels completely opposite. We have kickstarted this semester in the most wonderful and beautiful everyday life way. The way, the truth and the life One scripture has grown in the mind and heart lately. It is provocative in regarding to the way we, as christians, undestand and talk about our own faith in Jesus Christ. It is from John. 14,6: "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."  Sometimes, when we talked with people, who don't live with Christ, about Jesus, we can have a tendency to say something like: "I believe that Jesus is true, therefore, I am a christian." In theory, there is nothing wrong about saying and explaining your faith like that. However, this verse points on something even bigger. We have welcomed the year since last time you heard from us. And we are excited to see what this year will bring for our organisation; and which paths God has prepared for us to walk in. We want to wish all of you a happy New Year; may God bless you all abundantly! We were thrilled to finish the year with a big outreach for around 2000 youngsters and children of our town and area! For years, we have worked together with the organisation "Samaritan's purse", which gives us the many boxes, so we can give them to children in our region. Around Christmas and New Years we were visiting 6-7 schools in the whole region of Niksic. The background of the schools were very different, but our experiences were the same: Both the pupils and teachers received us full of joy and excitement for us to bring the presents.
